Objectives: To give basic elements for the cutting of the stones as per international standards

Contents: 
Perfect command of the handling of powerful and qualified materials
Initiation into the relation between gemmology and lapidary
The evaluation of a rough stone and the choice of the appropriate cutting style

2. Facet cutting technique, Advanced:

Objectives: To consolidate the theoretical and practical knowledge in gemstone cutting

Certification:  Certificate issued by the IGM

Contents:
¶Elements for the creation of a lapidary workshop (choice of raw materials, choice of materials and accessories)

3. Cabochon cutting technique:

Duration: 5 days

Starting date: every Monday

Objectives: Iintroduction to gemstone cutting with emphasis on the cabochon cutting

Certification:  Certificate of participation

Contents:
-Enhancement of all the coloured stones, opaque and translucent (corundum, labradorite, amazonite) and practice of the cabochon cutting
-Creation of various types of form and style
-Evaluation of the stones of lower quality

4. Thai Lapidary technique, Initiation:

Duration: 2 months

Starting date: Following the schedule

Objectives: To have a perfect command of the cutting technique of corundum (ruby and sapphires) according to the Thai technique, using Thai "Gempeg" instruments.

5. Thai Lapidary technique, Advanced:

Duration: 2 months

Starting date: Following the schedule

Objectives: To have a perfect command of the cutting technique of corundum.

6. Training of the trainers

Duration: 3 months

Starting date: Every Monday

Objectives: To have a perfect command of the cutting ¶technique of faceted stones, and of cabochon; study of the appropriate teaching techniques
